Teammate. In all I do on and off the field, season and preseason, I strive to be the consummate teammate. This effort takes many forms across my three sports and includes playing wherever the coach wants me, being a player-coach on the field, representing my team, school and family well and with pride, physically and mentally preparing for every upcoming season and for every contest within the season and accepting all coaching instruction in whatever form it comes. My size and accompanying athleticism also make me a valuable teammate. I understand that many distractions exist off the field, and I prefer time with family and the camaraderie of teammates over putting myself in situations that jeopardize my eligibility and take time away from my studies which must be sandwiched between practices and games, especially across the three sports seasons.
As a member of your team, I will wear your uniform with pride and work to make your school proud that I represent it in the community, on the field/court and in the classroom. I am an athlete that has room to improve once I dedicate myself to one team - your team.
