Personal Statement
I have been playing soccer since the age of six. Ever since I started, I have dreamed to play at the collegiate level regardless of the division. I was first introduced to the position of goalkeeper at age eight. At first, I disliked the position but I gradually began to embrace reality. As I grew as a goalkeeper, I also grew as a leader. I am not just a leader on the field but also in the class. I am currently enrolled in all honors classes holding a perfect 12.0 GPA. With my academic excellence, I aspire to be an Academic All-American. I plan to pursue a degree in engineering or in the sciences. One of my strengths is my presence on the field where I exhibit self-confidence and a cool-headed demeanor which in turn helps my team. Unlike many of my peers, I already have long term goals set, allowing me to strive towards them and achieve them.
