Personal Statement
A-B acedemic-athlete, I have an average 3.4 gpa on a scale of 4.0, and as a student I'm 102 out of 717 which puts me on the top 20% of my class.I take school as an opportunity given to appreciate, considering my background ethnicity comes from a very poor environment. On a soccer stand point being the captain of my high school and travel team, I have some leadership skills that help me throughout the game and education. I'm an attacking threat, passer, and a play maker. I am a smart player who hardly complicates himself on the field. Defense is alright, I am very energetic, my stamina is very high and I support all my teammates, carry sportsmanship regardless of the results to the game. Going back to academics and my school life, I participate in two leadership groups, being foreign motivates me to strive for my goals and make a difference in my life. I am part of the spanish honor society, and BOAC which an anti-racism group between Latinos and African Americans that allows us to go on many college tours and speak to boards of representatives for organizations.
