Personal Statement
I started playing soccer my freshman year and it turned out to be the best thing I have ever done. Playing soccer has taught me my strengths, has increased my confidence as an athlete and has introduced me to the experience of playing for a team that has players that respect each other and their coach. I try my hardest at every practice and game just to continue to improve so that I can strive to reach my goal of playing at the collegiate level. I spent my summer training with my coach a minimum of three days a week so that I can have even better skills.
I have a seventy percent shut out rate and can punt the ball seventy to eighty yards. I also have a fifty percent save rate on penalty kicks. I have a strong leg and arm and my ball handling is improving. I give as much help as I can to other players and love when players or coaches give me tips on how to improve. I am at every practice no matter the circumstance and even if I can't play I am still out on the field helping my teammates improve.
At school I try my hardest to get the best grades I can. I also sit at the front of the class in every class and give my full attention.
I want to go to a college that would help me the most on my skills so that I can continue to improve and become the best player I can be. I also look forward to being part of a team that respects each other and where everyone gives 100%. I also want to go to a college that will help me the most with my career of choice and give me the best opportunity to succeed. I am open to all options that will help fulfill my goals and help to make me become successful in everything I do.
