Peyton Mathis '17 Recruiting Profile

Entering my second season as the starting goalkeeper on my varsity squad, I am proud to be referred to as one of the top goalkeepers in the state of Indiana. Over the past season I have grown an inch and gained five pounds.  I am currently 6' and weigh 180 pounds. I have been working hard on my speed and agility through plyometric training at Acceleration Indiana. I, also participate in an athletic weights program through my school, and in the off season I do extra goalkeeper training. I play for the Hoosier Futbol Soccer Club in the spring.  I have also been attending college ID camps. 
My goals for college are to play soccer competitively while earning a degree in computer science.  I always give 100% on the field. I am a team player who is the first one on the field and the last one to leave.  I would be a good candidate at the collegiate level because of my commitment to the game, my skill level of play, and my leadership qualities in my position.
