I have been playing soccer since I was seven years old, I started out at my school's team. Since I been playing at the school's team, I have always played along with older categories since my class had not enough players, so I have had to make a bigger effort, this has lead me to having an excellent physical condition and attitude; and I am the captain of the current team. This year I was given the "Outstanding Athlete" award. I have participated in the National team of Guatemala's U-15 and U-17. I currently play at Sporta Punto Soccer, which is a III Division (Amateur League) team, where I am the sub-captain of the Senior team. It is something I am really excited about and that I have worked very hard for, since it is a Under-24 tournament and I am 17 years old. I am a player with a very strong mentality on and off the field. I won't give up on anything worth fighting for, academically and athletically. Hard work has been the key to everything I have accomplished.
I went to Nomads (LA and SD, California) in 2012, when I was thirteen years old. I competed in the Microsoft Word National Competition (2014), ended up in 12th place. I am certificated by Microsoft in Word and PorwerPoint. I attended to RYLA 2014 (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) and FIE Guatemala 2014 (International Forum of Entrepreneurs).
I am not an aggressive person, I am very calm and patient. I won't loose my mind in the middle of a match. I do community service in little villages with "Jóvenes ProGuate" (Guatemalan organization), and I am working on a new project to create a way of doing this. I was given the "Student of the year" award in my school, it is given to one person every year, to the one who makes her/his best at all times and occations, who is a charitable person, and takes on count other humanitarian aspects such as transmitting moral values.
