Personal Statement
My name is Bongumusa Mtsweni, a young South African boy from the capital city of South Africa; Pretoria. I would like to think that I am a vibrant young boy who is a people's person and an individual that always has a smile on the face. Soccer is my passion and my dream is to play at a professional level but also balance academics in receiving a degree in my desired field of study. Here in South Africa I play as a left or right winger as i am usually one of or the fastest player in the team, I am also ambidextrous which is beneficial to my positioning. I am good at set pieces and ball distribution. I also have a history of being a track athlete which explains my speed, at the age of 19 still able to clock in a time of 11:30s over 100m which is beneficial because I have endurance. I can play as an attacking midfielder as well as striker. I would be a good candidate for any team because I play with heart and try my best to motivate the team. Even though I have not captained a side in soccer, I'm known for making the most noise and overseeing possible disisions that my teammates make, what I mean is if I see a channel open for the striker to run in, I will tell him to go into that channel and thereafter direct the wing to follow the strikers runs (assuming both these players haven't realised this). I once played in the MIC (Mediterranean International Cup) tournament held in Spain which is an advantage because I have played against 4 different countries' style of soccer. Also, I come from a family where I have 3 siblings and 2 loving parents which means I know exactly what it is like to be in a team.
