Personal Statement
My largest goal after entering high school was to play soccer at a higher level. It was my freshman year when I joined my first club team and played year round. After playing soccer all winter and all spring as well as everyday for high school in the fall I realized that soccer was my true passion. From there on out I couldn't stop playing I played at open fields in my community as well as traveling over an hour to train with a new club team. I was willing to sacrifice the hour ride for two or three nights a week to play with a quality team where I felt I was playing where I belonged. I am a firm believer in the idea of team work. I am a huge fan of bonding and team chemistry, I believe that if you have each others backs off the field you will have each others backs on the field. Even for my high soccer and baseball teams we have team dinners and I love the idea of it. The feeling of taking the field with your brothers is a feeling like no other. Academics is a field where I struggle at some points. Over all I do very well in school but it doesn't go as smoothly as me on a soccer field. I do put work in in the classroom in order to keep my grades up to keep playing to fulfill my dream of playing college soccer. When it comes down to it I can rely on my teammates to help me understand the concepts from class. Overall I do take challenging classes and do well in them because I am a diligent worker in the classroom.
