Nikhil Youssef '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nikhi Youssef and I am a senior at Thomas Wootton High School in Rockville, Maryland and will graduate in May 2018.  Wootton High School is one of the top public schools academically in the nation and is located in Montgomery County, Maryland.  I consider myself a scholar athlete and not a student athlete. I have a GPA of 4.26 (all AP and honors classes) and scored in the top percentile in the SAT.  I am looking at getting the best education possible based on my soccer skills and academic successes. I greatly value community service and enjoy volunteering and giving back to my community. 

Academics come first and foremost.  I am very interested in pursuing my academic and soccer careers at a school with a strong academic program and in a competitive soccer program.  I identify myself as intellectually curious and an independent learner who values community and collaboration.  I would be a great addition to your college soccer team based on my style of play, my leadership skills on and off the field, and the passionate way that I play the beautiful game.  I have a very strong work ethic, a never quit attitude, and create a very positive and  supportive environment on any team I play.  I am the starting center midfielder #14 for the Laurel Lions 00 team, a top team in Maryland, coached by Emile Mbouh, former World Cup captain for Cameroon. The Lions play in the Region 1 Eastern Regional League.

Since the 8th grade, I have been playing at the Region 1 and EDP level and I am averaging 8 goals and 18 assists per season. I have a great touch of the ball; a great vision of the game; am a strong technical, tactical, and passionate player; have a very strong and accurate shot; I am the corner kick, free kick, and penalty kick specialist on my team; and play very well with both feet. I look forward to having the opportunity to showcase my talent to you soon.
