My long term goals are to be happy with my career and in my personal life, to be successful, and part of a strong community. For as long as I can remember I've found ways to work towards that goal and to simply be myself, through both school and soccer. Throughout my many years playing soccer competitively, I have been a teammate who is flexible, dedicated and a true team player. If the coach and team need me to fill a critical position, I am happy to do it. On my club teams I've played forward, center-mid, and outside mid, and on my high school team I've played center-mid, outside-mid, and outside-defense. Playing such diverse positions has helped me hone my foot skills, and passing skills. I have an excellent vision of the field and I play strategically. I am also very fast and agile, attributes that can’t be taught. Competition among soccer teams in Colorado is pretty intense and there is a very high level of play. I feel that the level of competition and my ability to play many different positions well has made me a stronger person and player overall. I adapt to new positions, new coaches, and new teams very well. I am a hard worker and very coachable. I love soccer and ever since I was young I have wanted to play at the highest level possible. I want to continue to be part of a team, a family, where I can represent my college, and work for my teammates, coach, and school.
My goal outside of soccer is to work in the world of business. School is extremely important to me; it is another community in which I thrive. I was brought up with the idea that education comes first, before sports, play and other activities, and is critical to success as we get older. With a strong education, I hope to make my mark on the world in a positive manner. I am looking for a college that will challenge me academically, will offer a community of friends and mentors, and prepare me for a business career or graduate education. Soccer, education, and my family have been the constants in my life. Through all I have grown as a person and developed into a mature individual hoping to find that next community, and next level of success and happiness.
