Personal Statement
Hi Coaches, thank you for taking the time to view my profile. It is very cliché to say that from a young age, I’ve always wanted to play college soccer, but like tens of thousands of other athletes on here, it is very true. My biggest goal in life is simply to be happy and to not have any regrets. I aspire to be a cardiothoracic suregeon, and have plans to scrub in on an open heart surgery soon, as my aunt is an E.R. Nurse. As for your team, I think my biggest benefit would be making the chemistry of every player on the field better. It is so much easier to play soccer with your friends than with strangers, so while it may take a little bit, there is no substitute than having 10 brothers on the field with you. Not only will I bring performance, but great chemistry to your team. Character wise, I think my leadership and selflessness sets me apart. I was the first junior captain in my High School’s history, and have grown very close to my coach. Leading doesn’t stop on the field, and a few times a month my teammates come to needing some guidance in academics/social issues. There is no better feeling to me than helping others, and maybe that is what is driving me towards the medical field. Thank you again for letting me take up some of your day.
