Colton OToole '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Colton O'Toole and I attend Masconomet Regional High School in Topsfield MA.  

For me, playing college soccer will be a dream come true and a significant and memorable lifetime experience. 

I practice my ball handling skills most days because I feel it is so important to always be sharp, ready and able to get out of traffic, to "take on" an opponant in order to advance my team forward up the field.   I do feel that I am a leader and try to "lead by example" everyday, not only when fans are watching a game or practice but also when others are not watching.   I am a vocal player on the pitch, always helping out my teammates whenever possible.

I always strive to learn and listen to as much feedback as possible from coaches and people watching me play in order to advance my game.  A key factor that separates me from other athletes is my coachability, I know there is always something new to learn.  When a coach tells me to do a certain task on or off the field, I will do it to the best of my ability and remember it.

In the classroom I work hard in order to achieve the best grades possible.  I do help out in my local community as much as possible by giving at least 10 to 20 hours of my time volunteering each year from preparing lunches and giving them out to the Boston homeless to cutting grass a our local arboretum.  I enjoy helping others not so fortunate. 

I am interested in attending a college that will allow me to play soccer at the highest level possible.   I welcome any and every opportunity coming and I truly want to make a difference in my "new community" so my peers and family will be so proud.
