Looks can be deceiving. That is the case for me. Though I am quite small in stature for a goal keeper, I make up for it with my quickness, agility, positioning, work ethic, desire to be coached,and communication. I will never put in a half way effort. If I feel like I am facing adversity, I power through. I go by the motto of my former JV soccer coach, "It Builds Character." Any problem I face or hill I need to run, I say "it builds character" and get on with it. There has, and never will be a problem I face that I shy away from. If I fail, I learn from my mistakes and I never make the same mistake twice. Academically, I am a quick learner. Concepts come quite easy for me and there is never a problem which I cant figure out with a little bit of effort. This helps me immensely in my Goal Keeping. While Communicating to the defense, I am able to tell them exactly what to expect from the play and where they should be for the play. My coach-ability is also a big positive to having me on your team. I am always willing to listen and learn from people who have a similar love and passion for the game of soccer that I have. I will take criticism in stride and positive feedback with a grain of salt in order to push myself to get better. I want to be apart of your team. As a competitor, I will push whomever is the incumbent goal keeper is to make both of us stronger and to push both of us for that starting spot. I don't believe I am good enough to be apart of your team, I know I am good enough. If you don't agree then I will push myself as hard as possible to show you that I belong and I am capable of being part of your team.
