As a soccer player, it is a goal of mine to play at the college level, with a good school at a high level with competitive teams. I am a good candidate for your team because I am devoted to the sport and the love the game. I am an essential asset because I can play anywhere on the field and have a great knowledge of the game. Not only that, but I will work harder than anybody on the field and I display great leadership skills. I want to play soccer as long as I can and at the highest level possible. Also, off the field, I have great representative qualities. I am a great student, person, and I have support from a large majority of people that have seen me play and that know me outside of soccer. I am driven by family, friends, the love for the game, and I will get the job done! I am different than other recruits because I have developed a more mature view as to what needs to happen in order to grow and enhance my abilities as a soccer player. I work out on a weekly basis and focus on eating healthy to make sure I am in top shape. Also I have learned that "the best practice, is no practice." Meaning, that I have realized more time and effort needs to be put into becoming a successful soccer player, than just a regular practice with the team. I devote a lot of my time outside of practice, whether it's training on my front lawn, in the driveway, at the field, or at the gym. I have great work ethic and I am committed to the game. Academically, I am different because I am able to manage/fit my schoolwork and soccer into my schedule, while continuing to keep my grades up at the same time.
