Personal Statement
I aspire and dream of being a collegiate goal keeper. It is my passion. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 and from middle school to today I work year round to hone my soccer skills (school teams, club teams, camps, clinics). Key goal keeper attributes include my exceptional reaction time, focus, speed, ability to stop PK's and my general build (6'2", 160# and 75" wingspan). I am a quick goal keeper, but can also be a blunt instrument when needed. As a person, I feel like no challenge is too great in both sports and academics (3.8 GPA).
Not all recruits can say that they are playing for two people, which I am. My younger brother was an amazing defender and now he is on the heart transplant list. Every time I walk on the field, I am motivated by him and his perseverance. This has given me extraordinary motivation in life and a razor-like focus in the box.
On the field, I provide constructive contribution to the team. I am commanding and verbal in this role.
