Personal Statement

Hi my name is Giovani Anderson and I am an aspiring soccer player born and raised in Ocean Springs, MS. My playing position is the goal keeper and it has been for the past 7 years. I am 5'11" and weigh 165 lbs. I currently play for St. Martin High School as well as Gulf Coast United (GCU) travel club team. I have been with GCU for three years and played for my school since 8th grade when the 1st inaugural St. Martin Middle School Soccer Team was created. My freshman year I was starting goal keeper for the junior varsity (JV) team and the backup for varsity. My sophomore year I started on the JV and shared playing time on the varsity. My junior and senior year I was and will be the starter on varsity.
