My name is Kaden Smith and I am a Junior at Christian Brothers College High School (CBCHS), in St. Louis, MO. I play mostly attacking roles such as a winger or central midfield but I am a versatile player. I have played wingback before because I am able to get up and down the field quickly and frequently.
For my high school team I start at left wing and for my club team, JB Marine Gober 04, I start at attacking center midfield. My club team has played in MRL and National League the past 3 years and every year we have made it to regionals and that includes one state championship. Playing in MRL and especially National League, I am pushed to grow and develop faster than most players.
I also take part in ODP. This past year I was selected to play for the region 2 team in a tournament at IMG Academy with a chance of being selected for the u17 national team. We ended up doing pretty good in this tournament and went home satisfied at the end of the week. It really showed me what I need to focus on in order to become a better player.
A key part in my style of play is my vision. I can see a run before it is even made and my off the ball movement is loved by my coaches. This makes me extremely dangerous around the box.
