Bryce Childers '15 Recruiting Profile

I love the game of soccer, and I can't image life without competing on the soccer field.  I have wanted to be a Dentist since I was 6 years old.  God has blessed me with skills for the game and a passion for the game.  I want to use those talents to get a scholarship for my undergrad so that I will have less debt when completing dental school. 

I am a hard worker on the soccer field and play with a lot of heart.  I have been the starting center midfielder for the 2012 Missouri State Cup Championship team, and have received All-District, All-Conference (including Player of the Year 2014), All-Area (including Player of the Year 2014), 1st Team All-State, and 1st Team All-Midwest Region in the largest class of schools in Missouri and the Kansas City, MO metro area. 

This last MRL season we only suffered one loss to the 3-time Iowa State Cup Champions.  I am 6'3" with good speed and leaping ability.  I use my size to win balls in the middle of the field, defend our goal on corner kicks, and put the ball in the back of the goal on offense.  I am a versatile player and was asked to play center back on my club team when 2 center backs went down with season ending injuries.  When my team was down 1-0 this past State Cup, they moved me to striker where my play making ability and energy helped us come back and win 2-1.

I would like to attend a Christian University, with a good soccer program and the academics to help me pursue a career in Dentistry.
