Josiah Dinwiddie '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a Senior (2016 graduate) at Carl Junction High School in Carl Junction, MO.  My club team is the U18 Joplin Demize Soccer Club and have been on the 98 Missouri ODP State Team the last two years. 

I have started every game in goal at my HS  (freshman, sophomore, junior and Senior) as well as being selected by the coaches and players as the Team MVP all 4 years.  

I currently have a 3.5 GPA and am ranked in the top 25% of my class and scored a 23 on my ACT.  

I believe that I have something extra that many others may not have-heart.  I take pride in working harder than any other goalie and believe that my work ethic and drive to get better will help me accomplish my goals.  I also believe that I have the skill to make it at the next level and will continue to work hard to prove it. 

I have been on the All District Team all 4 years, and Goalie of the Year in District the last 2 years.  I was chosen as Goalie of the year in the conference this year as well as 1st Team Goalie (this was the only year we have had conference awards).  I have been chose by coaches and teammates as MVP all 4 years as well as selected on the MHSSCA SW MO Regional Team.  I am now #1 in the state of Missouri for all time saves with 791 and #2 in career saves per game in the state.  I had 301 saves this year with a 1.5 GAA and .9 save %.  I have won 56 Varsity games with 30 shutouts and a 1.5 career GAA.
