Personal Statement
My biggest dream is to become something I can be proud of. I see it as that I am only a kid for 18 years, but I will be a grown man for at least 60 years. Which is why I feel like I need to accomplish as much as I can and be the best I can because living 60 years knowing I could have done better or that I didn't try my best seems like a very long sad life.
My goal right now is to become a college student athlete. I want to excell in academics and in soccer. Right now, soccer and academics are the most important things to me in my life. They both are paving the way for my future so I have to be sure to do the absolute best I can.
I also want to achieve becoming the first college athlete in my immediate family. I practice soccer 5 days a week during season and 3 days a week in the offseason. I work out 5 days a week year round. I have been the Varsity Goal Keeper for my high school since 9th grade and I am a Team Captain. I was voted All District my Junior year. I am also on an Allstar Team and play for SMSC (South Mississippi Soccer Club). I currently train with Goal Keeeper Coach Warren Steenkamp of PRCC. I know what it is like to win and I know what it is like to lose. I always stay positive and I try my best to bring my team up when they aren't playing well. I consider myself a leader on the field because I always try to put forth a maximum effort on the field as an example for my teammates. I consider myself a leader off the field because I pay attention in class, study hard, am a member and 2 Time State Champ in DECA (Association of Marketing Students), I am on the Student Council and I am involved in a lot of community service programs at my school such as Rebel Readers (Reading Program for elementary school children) and Rebel Reach (a community outreach program that does community cleanup and work for non-profit organizations).
Youtube also has a different version of my highlight video.
