Attend a 4 year university and major in biomedical engineering, biochemistry, Pre-Physical Therapy, Pre-Sports Medicine, Pre-OD (medical field). Also, I would enjoy playing soccer in college.
Starter again for 2013 season (junior year). Awards will be given out next week; not sure what I got. Stats: 7.778 S/G; 2.466 GAA; 140 total saves. 11-8-1 overall season.
Attending NC State University recruiting camp December 20/21, 2013.
During the 2012 season in 10th grade I set a school record with the low average of .54 goals against and a 91% save rate. Also having 8 straight shut outs in conference games. I won an All Conference award and All Region Team award. My goal is to improve this in fall 2013 and win the conference championship (finished 2nd in 2012); also go further than the 2nd round of Division 2 state playoffs.
Starting out 2013 junior year once again starter goalie on Kinston High's varsity team. 5:3:1 as of September 23rd 2013. Had amazing game on September 23rd in the first conference game; won 2:1. Was reason team won game due to outstanding goalkeeping skills. Matthew attended Lees McRae College and Lenoir Rhyne University recruiting camps summer (July) 2013. This was a perfect pre season goalie camp experience leading into his junior year.
