Matthew Stiles '20 Recruiting Profile

I started playing soccer when I was 6 years old.  I play many sports (soccer, futsal, basketball, baseball) and my dad coached all of my teams.  He is constantly helping me to be a better athlete and a better person.  My dad and mom have always supported me in anything I do.  I love them very much.  I also studied Tae Kwon Do for 7 years and earned my 1st and 2nd degree black belts.  I returned to Tae Kwon Do in 2016.  I work very hard at everything I do.

I started playing goalkeeper when I was 10 years old on a regular basis.  I train hard to be the best I can be.  The highlight of my soccer career, so far, was our Spring 2016 travel team going undefeated and winning our division championship.  It was the perfect end for me and my teammates after several years together on the travel team. 

I am a fast learner.  I am trust worthy.  I believe I am a person of high character.  I am a good friend.  I am a good teammate.  I am a leader.  I always try to do the right thing.  When I set goals, I do everything to achieve them.  I am also a certified soccer referee.  I love the sport of soccer and will continue to work hard to be the best I can be.
