Personal Statement
Since I was a little kid my biggest passion in life has been soccer.
One of the qualities that sets me apart from other athletes is my work ethic. Once I set my mind to reaching a goal, I am very determined to get there. I put my heart and soul into every game and I love to compete at the highest level. I play every game with an intensity that is not easily matched by others.
In addition, I am a versatile player and can play a variety of positions. For my club teams, I have played in central midfield, as both attacking (#10) and defensive midfielder, and as a forward. In high school, I also occasionally play as a left midfielder.
I apply the same determination to my school work and study very hard. My current GPA is a 3.8 and I will most likely be among the top 50-60 students in my class.
My leadership qualities led to my selection as captain of both my club team and my high school team. It is my work ethic and my ability to lead by example that makes me the best possible candidate for the schools I am interested in playing for.
