2017 Highlights Personal Statement
As a student-athlete I have always dreamed of playing soccer in college. I am always focused on and off the field with soccer and my academics. I hate to lose and I never stop playing, no matter the score. I have sacrificed so many things to get better off the field when nobody is watching. In the past I struggled with my fitness. This came to a head when I lost my starting spot on my club team a few years ago. Instead of quitting, this motivated me to work even harder. I began BX training and doing other exercises outside of soccer training to improve my fitness. All of my hard work is paying off. I got my starting spot back and was made captain of my high school varsity team in my junior year. I am determined to be that player on the field who is the leader that everyone looks up to and whose character stands out from the rest. This is the same attitude I take with my academics. I strive to achieve the highest grade possible in all my subjects. I truly feel that I will make a great student athlete for some college next fall.

- AwardsHave been on honor roll every marking period in High School. I currently have perfect attendance in High School (thru my Junior year). In 9th grade I won 1st place in the High School Science Fair against other 9th grade students and best in show against all High School students. In 10th grade I won 2nd place against other 10th grade students. In 11th grade I won 3rd place in the High School Science Fair. I have received the Scholar-Athlete Award every year in Varsity Soccer. Inducted into National Honor Society in May of 2017.
