Most of my athletic career playing soccer, I have been characterized as a leader and a hard worker among many of my coaches. My moral code is something I preach heavily whilst playing the sport and is something I try to abide by whenever I step on the pitch. One of these codes is to always put the team before myself and always see my coach as my superior. Throughout my soccer career I have played an ample amount of positions, including right-back, defensive-mid, attacking-mid, striker and left wing. This has in turn, given me a higher IQ than most because I am aware of the different roles and responsibilities each position possesses, thus giving me an advantage whenever I play my, now, midfield position. Another part of my code which I preach the most is that nothing is impossible with the perfect amount of hard-work and motivation. This statement applies to me on and off the pitch. Off the pitch i have been met with many obstacles I have had to endure such as limited means to money and not the best exposure to top teams in my city. Regardless of these factors, I felt I owed it to myself and the people less fortunate than me to take advantage of the privileges I have and work hard, day in and day out to hopefully someday play amongst a stadium full of cheering fans. This dedication and discipline landed me in the UK where I have spent the '19-'20 season playing academy football against a lot of northern talent, whilst still prospering and succeeding. I even worked to get the opportunity to play u'23 football at the age of 18 but unfortunately only played a few games due to covid-19. However, this season I have accumulated 8 assists and 1 goal in 9 games, but I still plan to work on scoring more goals rather than providing them at the attacking mid position. I would describe my playing style as a spark plug for attack on offense but ruthless and competitive on defense. When I am on the attack I feel I make passes that force an attack and put pressure on the defense. I feel like I would fit into any team but particularly a team with a very prolific striker or strike partnership. On defense I am very competitive because I take pride in shutting down attacks and lowering the moral of the other team. Coaches have fully utilized this trait by allowing me to sit back in the midfield while allowing my partnering midfielders to express themselves without the stress of an opposing counter attack. In the future, I hope to work with FIFA and CAF by helping kids in my country, Morocco, go to Europe and America and have better opportunity in the world of football. I also plan to be an advocate in Morocco for Pan-africanism and Africa's liberation. Finally I hope to use the later years of my life to develop a prestigious soccer academy that will allow kids of lower incomes to have an equal chance at chasing their dreams. To any team that is interested in me, I have the drive and determination to be an important part of your team and the perseverance to succeed at your university.
