Personal Statement
I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. I am born right-handed but am left foot dominant on the field. I play Left back My present team coach uses me for all free kicks, corner kicks, indirect and direct kicks. My hope is to be able to play College Soccer, either on the D1-D3 level.
I've been selected for Varsity for my Junior year and am playing both Attacking left midfielder/Outside left back.
My sophmore year stats are:
OHS JV: 10-1-2
Minutes played: 1135
As a sophmore on the JV team, I played each game as left back with only 40 minutes total being subbed out (in the first games of the season).
My wish is pursue a BA in Criminal Justice/Pre-Law and potentially law school.
I aspire to play through college and potentially play professionally either in the US or South America.
I have a true passion for the game of Soccer. I love to work together with my teammates to have a successful season. My Club team finished 2nd in D1 group for Westchester Youth Soccer League Spring 2015. In our Spring 2016 season we remained in D1. Once again, I played a total of 540 minutes (6 games in the division)
My goal on the pitch is to play the best game possible, keep control of the game and lead the team in game plays. On the pitch I want to work as hard as I can and as best as I can to keep ball possession.
When not competing on the field I spend several hours improving my skills with corner kicks, free kicks, etc. I am also a Youth Volunteer Clinic Instructor for AYSO (training U5-U6 players). I am also a Certified USSF 8 Referee and referee each weekend 3 games per average and feel that with my skills as a player I've incorporated rules of the game. I have a better perspective of the Rules and well as the actual game being a referee.
As of February 2015, I am a Certified Grade 8 USSF Referee.
As of June 2016, I am a member of the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department Explorer Post 2051.
As of August 2017, I am member of the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department.
As of September 2017, I am High School Mentor.
It has always been my dream and goal to be a versatile player and improve my game. I've always wanted soccer to be a major part of my life. Playing college soccer is not just a dream, it's my biggest goal in the hopes that one day I can play professionally.
