Jason Waitman '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jason Waitman and I am a Winger on the Pearl River High School Varsity Soccer Team and a Striker on the CSA Bergen West 2001 Boys Green U17 Team.  I currently attend the Pearl River High School, in Pearl River New York.  I want to continue playing soccer at the college level.  Some career paths I am considering are physical therapy, sports medicine or sports marketing.  I am an excellent candidate to join a Division-level team because at my best I have scored 3 goals, in a single game, at a few different tournaments:  I have listed below characteristics about me that make me different from other recruits:

• I have passion, drive, ambition, and hunger to succeed as a great soccer player.  
• I have game intelligence and good composure with the ball.
• I have speed, great vision, and tactical awareness.
• I can quickly visualize and understand the layout of players on the field. 
• I can handle the pressure of the game and I am not afraid to go against my opponents.
• I take ownership of my responsibility as a winger and striker and carry out my responsibility on the field with aggressiveness.
• I am self-motivated because I spend hours upon hours practicing both on my teams and at home, mastering my skills and techniques.
• I accept feedback from coaches and work to improve my skills every day.
• I am constantly at the gym so that my body can handle physical contact on the field.
• Finally, I am a Team Player because I believe you win games when you work together.
