Personal Statement
I feel I am a fit, fast, smart and disciplined player who has a very strong left even though I am right dominant. I am very much a team player. I strive to utilize the entire field and plan ahead for the best plays. I have worked smart and hard and I have been dedicated at the Academy level with Seacoast United Soccer Club as well as Brewster Academy Prep School (member of the Varsity team since freshman year). I have received awards for outstanding recognition in sports such as the Coaches Award and Bobcat Award and have been a starting player for my high school team which has won their conference title numerous times and earned a bid in the NEPSAC quarterfinals multiple years.
I have been on Honor Roll (Magna Cum Laude) every trimester in Prep School and am interested in taking challenging courses (currently in AP Calculus). I enjoy math and science courses the most because I am analytical and consider myself a solid problem solver. I work as hard in academics as I do in athletics. I strive to be a role model as validated by being selected by my peers and faculty as the Class Prefect (Student Leader) in 9th, 10th, and 11th grades. It says a lot that my faculty selected me (10th and 11th grade) to be a Math Tutor for the entire school in courses up to and including AP Calc. I have earned Citizenship and JBS status consistently in all areas at Brewster Academy which is an honor recognizing a student's strength of character and academic fortitude. I do all this while engaging in a variety of community service projects which include working with local youth clubs to organize and run various events in the area, participating in trail maintenance and grounds clean up to help our local ski area get ready for the winter season, volunteering in many activities that support the local Youth Organizations such as a sporting camps, Holiday festivals, Skate & Ski Sales, etc.
