Personal Statement
My name is Antonio Lagua and I play for the 04 CSA White ECNL regional team. I attend Hough High School, in Cornelius, NC and I am a 2022 graduate with a 3.3 GPA. I am currently enrolled in all honor classes and in an AP course as well. I am 5’5, 115 lbs. I mainly play left wing and right wing and occasionally play outside back. I am a very defensive player when I play outside midfield. I make great tackles to win the ball at midfield rather than let it get to our back line. I am also a fast player. I can run up and down the line throughout the whole game. I’m a playmaker who makes dangerous through balls through the midfield rather than taking more touches then needed.
I played for the Barca Academy in South Charlotte NC for 3 years. Played for the top team and traveled to Dominican Republic for the Las Americas Tournament, and traveled to San Sebastian Spain for the Donosti Cup, with Josh Gregory as my head coach. Won best player of the year award as a left back for Barca my second year at the club. I also played ODP for the NC team for two years. I want to study sports medicine and eventually become a physical therapist.
