Personal Statement

I am currently playing soccer for a local club team (U19) in Plettenberg, Germany, where I am studying under a US Congressional Scholarship program.  I joined the club in September and have earned a starting position as the center back in a 4-4-3 line up.  TuS Plettenberg plays in the youth Bezirksliga in Nordrhein-Westfalen, a State in western Germany.  We are currently in 4th place out of 12 in the division and shut out the first place team (Avg. 4 gpg) just before Winter Break.  My newest highlight video is from that game where I alternately marked the two leading scorers in the division.  No goals have been scored while I was in the game, and our club is 5-0-1 in games which I played and 1-2-1 in games in which I did not play.  The competition is fierce and I am enjoying every minute of it.  All of these stats can be verified here with hyperlinks that provide game by game information, but it is in German:
