Cody Burke NCSA V...Personal Statement
One of my goals is to get a 4.0 throughout college and the rest of my high school academic career, What makes me a good candidate for any team is I am a play maker and have a plan before I get the ball. What makes me different from others is I am committed on days without soccer practice you can find me at the pitch or at home working on skills. What I do best is using both feet, receiving the ball, being able to play that through ball with weight and spin. I have been involved in TSA, DECA, National Honors Society, and Key Club. I placed in the 4 by 400 meter relay at state with a split of 51. This year I am swimming for the first time, and I plan to break 50 seconds in the 400 meter dash. I was the captain of my high school team, sadly the season is over, I received team MVP, All conference, NDHSCA outstanding senior athlete award, all-state 1st team, and the MAGI award.

- Since freshman year I have gained 60 pounds, I improved on every lift. Heres a list of my freshman year lifting maxes: bench-80; back squat-155; power cleans-85. Senior year after countless hours in the gym my maxes have improved: bench- 190; back squat-315; power cleans-210.
