Kyle Wilson '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kyle Wilson, Class of 2017, Goalkeeper

I have played soccer since I was four years old. It's always been my dream to play collegiate level soccer and hopefully go on to play professional or semi-pro. I always work as hard as I can both in school and on the field. I've always been driven to play soccer and I can play anywhere on the field. I made the state team as keeper and my high school varsity team as Goalkeeper. I occasionally play on the field with club teams as well as keeper. I work as hard as possible to be the best I can be no matter how difficult the obstacles in front of me happen to be.

I play for Barcelona NorCal 97/99 which is one of the top teams in my area for my age group. We often travel to California for Nor Cal and other tournaments. I have also played for the 99 Nevada ODP team from 2012-2014.( I made the team this year but did not travel down for the tournament ). I will also continue to play for the team and travel to the tournament next year. 

Being shorter than most keepers at the collegiate level (although I'm still growing as my dad reached 6 foot junior year) I work on my Vertical often. Also working on being explosive to both sides to reach those crosses most keepers cannot. 

I also maintained a 4.0 throughout freshmen year. Sophomore year I am taking Stem Algebra 2 and Honors English. I am on track for my honors diploma.
