Personal Statement

I have been playing competitive soccer for 13 years. I have been heavily involved in club soccer for the last 5 years, and earned 3 high school varsity letters. I have a tremendous admiration for the game, and thoroughly enjoy all aspects of being on a competitive team. I take pride in having a strong work ethic that reaches beyond the required practices. As a collegiate athlete, I aspire to dwell in a competitive environment, with players and other goalkeepers around me that will press me to compete at my highest ability in practice or in games.

Academically, I tend to thrive in subject matter that pertains to my interests and future career. This is why I why I feel that I will excel in a major that will better me, and prepare me for a successful life after college.

Every monday for 6 weeks during the fall. Took place in the University of Akron Field House. Had one on one training with Akron's goalkeeping coach as well as their players.
