Personal Statement
I would like to play in college soccer at the highest and most competitive level that I am able to. Whether or not that is realistic I know that I have the drive and work ethic to make that possible. I make sure I get touches on the ball everyday. I was the first freshman to be brought up to the varsity squad at my school in over ten years. Granted, it was only towards tournament time, I still take great pride in this accomplishment. As a sophomore, I started as a central midfielder and thrived there. My statistics were not fantastic, but I helped dictate the way we played and helped control the ball. Into my junior year, I was elected to be one of our team captains. I was the first voted by majority vote. My statistics grew and I grew as not only a player, but a leader as well. I helped lead our team to our first conference title in almost five years. As well as this, I helped lead us to our first district final in three years before our loss in the sweet sixteen. Doing this earned me first team all district and first team all conference. I look forward to playing college ball, but until then will continue to improve on and off the pitch.
