Personal Statement
My name is Josh Welch, I am a 5'10" central defensive midfielder from Columbiana, Ohio and my graduating year from East Palestine High School will be 2020. I have 8 years of club experience and have won the Ohio North State Cup and moved onto the regional tournament with my club team Canton United. I have won first team All District 2 times for Youngstown and First Team All County 3 times for Columbiana County.
When it comes to choosing a school I plan on attending a medium sized school with a great college atmosphere, I am open to going anywhere, but preferably located around a city on the east side of the country. I just hope to find a college that best fits me
I am a hard working player with a lot of confidence in my game and my knowledge of the game. I also believe that I have great leadership skills for example I was chosen to be the captain of my team my Junior year. I am also a part of National Honors Society which I was selected to be on by our committee. I am dedicated to accomplish what I am capable of accomplishing. I know that I would be a great teammate to not only play with but to be around.
I would be a great great athlete at the college that I am attending, but I will be an even better student because I will constantly be trying to further my knowledge in the degree that I am pursing.
