Personal Statement
Soccer has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Since my 1st undefeated season in Kindergarten, I’ve had a passion for the game. One of my favorite moments was beating our rival team the Sharks in the finals of our Club hosted WSA Cup.
Now, also playing on a high school team as well as my club team, it has been quite a different experience playing with a team with very few competitive players. I’ve learned to be a leader, a good teammate and the importance of teamwork and commitment. I’ve had the privilege my Junior year to be Captain of both my High School and Club teams.
I had the opportunity last summer to train with a professional team in Saltillo, Mexico. And I’m excited this year to be representing the USA in the United World Games in Austria. We will play teams from all over the world and I can’t wait to experience playing against teams from other countries.
I’m looking for a college program that will challenge me academically and athletically. I believe with my drive and will to succeed, I will be an asset to your soccer program and will integrate well into your team.
