I am super passionate about learning and doing new things. I recently received a full scholarship to the United States Naval Academy Summer STEM Camp which made me extremely proud. It was an amazing one-week experience where I also had the opportunity to play soccer at the academy. I attend a Christian Sports camp for two weeks every summer called Kanakuk, located in Branson, Missouri. There I have the opportunity to build my relationship with Christ, run cross country, play soccer and meet new people. I am proud to say I have all A's and take honors English, Math and Science. English has been a challenge for me but I have learned so much and persevered through the class. My academic goal through high school, is to continue to work hard and get the highest grades possible. I tried a new sport last year, cross country, to help me with my soccer stamina. I learned very quickly it is a difficult sport! My coach helped me to learn how to run, how to pace myself and breath. It has been a sport that I have really improved and I can tell it has helped with my stamina in soccer. I have played soccer since I was four years old and I have been in love with it ever since. I love being a team player and helping my team. I have been on several different teams throughout my soccer career and have learned new techniques each time. I recently became a certified soccer ref through U.S. Soccer. I have really enjoyed reffing and getting a chance to see the game from another perspective. So for college, I would like to go into aerospace and/or engineering. I am currently thinking about the United States Naval Academy or United States Air Force Academy. However, being a freshman I am open to other colleges.
