My biggest priorities are God, family, and school, but my joy comes from soccer. I am more happy playing soccer than at any other place, or with any other person, or doing any other thing. With a ball at my feet, I am happy.
I spend hours a week trying to be the best player that I can be. If I can be better than I was yesterday, then I will grow every day and eventually play at a collegiate level. My offseason is spent wisely. I spend every day trying to get stronger, faster, and smarter. My high school coach always tells us that, “Champions are made in the offseason.” I work hard to be a champion, and I hope one day to achieve that.
On the pitch, I go all in. I leave everything on the field in hopes that when I step off of it, that I will be satisfied with my performance. I am not perfect, and neither is my team. I have learned to accept my mistakes and also my teammate’s mistakes. I learn from mistakes. Mistakes help me to become a better player.
I love soccer. I would do anything for it. I aspire to play in the highest competition level that I can and I want to leave my mark on this game. I want to leave an impact on any team that I play for. I am one to believe that nothing is impossible. The closer that someone can get to the “impossible” the more possible it becomes, until eventually, what you thought was “impossible” is possible.
