Personal Statement
I want to go to college because I want to have a good education so that I can get a good job and support my family in the future. In school, I am currently interested in law and math. I could see myself as a lawyer. I currently play two sports, lacrosse and soccer. As a freshman, I started every game for the JV soccer team at attacking midfield and had 6 goals this season. I have also been playing on my club's elite team for soccer since I was nine. I am also interested in playing lacrosse in college. I have been playing with the JV A lacrosse team over this summer as an 8th grader. We played in 3 tournaments, and I had around 7 goals and 8 assists at attack. I have been playing both lacrosse and soccer year-round and I am committed to both sports at the moment. I am good at these sports because I am very quick and agile, and I am small. I think being small is a good thing, because I go unnoticed on the field. Also, I like to practice these sports on my own, which shows that I am a hard worker. I am always positive to other people during games and practices. I demonstrate good sportsmanship by respecting my coaches and referees. I don't put myself down after I make a mistake, but instead, I learn from them, so that I don't make those same mistakes again.
As far as grades go, I have gotten distinguished honor roll every year of middle school and high school so far. My grades are important to me because my mom is a teacher, and she made me always try my hardest in school. Right now, I am in all honors classes and I am in ATP.
