Personal Statement
Being on trial with Union during my freshman year was a huge turning point in my career. I was really grateful for the opportunity and I loved being in that atmosphere. Although I didn’t make it, my time there would greatly impact my life. It was the first time I had ever felt like I wasn’t good enough to play somewhere. It was such a gut-wrenching feeling when I was told they didn’t want to take me. This, however, taught me such a valuable lesson. I learned that no matter what I will never be the best, but I can always work to be considered one of the best. This trial taught me my work ethics, discipline, and accountability. Now I am on Real Jersey MLS and have achieved some things I never thought I would. I will hold these lessons for life and I will always be consistent, hardworking, and disciplined.
I believe that I have a lot to offer colleges academically and on the field. I want to get my business degree and run a successful business after college. I dream of being the first in my family to go to college and get a degree. Everything I do is for my family and I want to make them proud by getting into a great college for school and sports.
