Personal Statement
I have played high level club soccer for 8 years with the best club soccer program in our region, Wyoming Valley Soccer League (WVSC). We have played numerous elite leagues, most recently the Delco Platinum League in Southeastern PA which we won. We are always stong contenders inour region or league. For this travel elite club I play mostly Winger (left or right) which is my specialty, and sometimes attacking mid or forward. I have very good touch and ball control, and am strong at getting the ball moved upfield into scoring position, and creating assists. I am calm under pressure, a strong passer, have good vision on the pitch, and do well in traffic in the box. Soccer is my love and I am very passionate about it. Educationally, I am interested to get a 4 year degree in either International Business, History, or Languages (Spanish maybe). Although lately I have been considering sports related degrees. In school I earn good grades, and I work hard for them. My latest semester I earned high honors. You will not find a player that works harder then to achieve a goal. For example, I am applying presently for my Eagle Scout rank in the Boy Scouts. I set this goal a long time ago, and even though there have been challenges along the way, and it took a lot of effort, I am about to realize this goal. Doing this while playing high level club soccer has taken a lot of focus. It is one example of my ability to do hard work to achieve a goal.
My soccer goal is to play collegiate soccer at the highest level possible, and play in Europe if the opportunity exists. My family supports this goal so long as I get a good education too.
I've been blessed to have very good sports skills and have played baseball, basketball, and soccer well, but only soccer has captured my heart. Any day of the week you will find me with a soccer ball at my feet, drilling, practicing, or playing with my team and also by myself on the field when everyone else has gone home.
