Daniel Busichio '14 Recruiting Profile

Currently, I am 5 feet 6 inches tall, and 140 pounds. I would definitely view myself as a quick player on and off the ball. On the ball I have quick moves, and bursts of speed when switching directions. Off the ball, I am constantly making runs, and on the other side, defending when the opposing team has possession. One of my main accomplishments would be making it to nationals, after going through the process of winning the state cup, and regionals for region 1, on my club team, Lehigh Valley United. I have basically been playing soccer all of my life. It has always been my favorite sport since a kid, and the most competitive too. I can offer many things to a team, starting with work rate. When I am on the field there is no quitting, or giving up. What I mean is, I am continuously moving and being dynamic throughout the entire game. I never stop working until the final whistle. My defensive game is just as good as my offensive game, which I believe is majorly important. On the field, you will always hear me giving out direction to teammates whether they need it or not. Without communication you will not have a successful game. Right now, I am not so sure where I would like to go to school. I am thinking about a somewhat large school, with a good soccer team and good academics as well. I am definitely open to any type of school, as long as it catches my interests. At this time, I am unsure about what I would like to major in, but I have always been interested in anything to do with law or sports. With soccer, I am looking to fulfill my goal in playing on a top college team, or at least a team where I can perform to my highest level with the help of a great coach and teammates. I just want to enjoy playing, wherever I am and whomever I am with.
