Devan Marhefka '18 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Devan Marhefka and over the last few years of my high school and cup career I have had great coaches that have helped to instill many excellent qualities in me such as integrity, character, and success. This past year (2016), I broke the single season scoring and assists records for my high school in the same season. Those records now stand at 33 goals and 23 assists. As a junior in high school, I have been named to the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association All State Soccer Team.

Just as I work very hard on the soccer field, the classroom is also a place of focus for me, where I am in the schools honors program. I am a person that does not like to be second best. Whether that be on the soccer field, in the classroom, or just being a good person in general - I work very hard to be the best I can be in all areas of life. With that, I also have a very good supporting cast behind me in my mother and father who do everything they can to help me become the student and athlete that I want to be, my brother who spends hours practicing with me, and my coaches who always push me to improve and be the best at every aspect of the game.
