Hello, I'm Felipe and I would like to share a little bit of myself with you.
I am a Senior in high school at Cupeyville School, Puerto Rico. I'm an honor student in the NHS with a 3.89 GPA.
I am captain of the GPS Conquistadores de Guaynabo U-17 soccer team and also of my high school's soccer team. I have been a captain during the last five years at GPS Conquistadores. I've played soccer since I was 3 years old in the same team, and my positions are center back and right back. I also play center midfielder at my school soccer team. I have received multiple MVP awards throughout my years playing soccer. As captain I put the team's interest first than any individual interest and believe in teamwork. I strive the success of my team through encouraging compromise and sacrifice and always think for the team. We have won multiple championships in the Puerto Rican league and we also won the championship in Chicago at the 2014 Chicago Kicks Cup. We have participated in GPS showcases in Boston 3 times in which we have ended undefeated and in 2nd place. As you can see we are a high competitive team.
As part of my development as a soccer player I have attended twice to a two weeks training at Costa Rica and once to the Real Federación Espanola de Fútbol in Madrid.
Besides that I participate in community service by volunteering in a foster home to help clean the facilities and interact with the children and I also give food and clothes to homeless people every Christmas Eve.
I want to be part of a competitive soccer team at college level while I pursuit my goal of becoming a future doctor in medicine.
It would be an honor to be recognized by any of the colleges.
