Carlos Serrano '16 Recruiting Profile

Well I have been playing soccer since I was ten and haven't stopped. I am dedicated, strong and definitely a team player. I am eager to learn new techniques and train seriously.  Last year I won coaches award in soccer the year before that I was All star. My high school team made it to the playoffs for the first time in 14 years, playing that finals game was exhilarating. We didn't win but tried our best. The league was a different story we won 1st place in the U17-A category. Last summer I went to Georgetown University  summer soccer camp. I learned a great deal of what I need to be able to play in college. I am working hard these next two years to achieve that goal. During the summer I work at a local preschool that serves children with special needs as well as typical children. This has made me aware of different learning capacities and how by inclusion these kids can do a lot more than what you expect from them. Practice makes perfect in everything we do. I am looking forward to continue my training, become part of an excellent university and be able play and study hard. To be part of a competitive collegiate team is my dream.
