My name is Jason Occilien, and I live in Columbia, SC. I am a 6’3" forward that will graduate in the year of 2018 from South Carolina Governor's School for Science & Mathematics. I have played club soccer for 6 years now including ODP in my state. I can play mid, left or right forward, and occasionally attacking mid-center. I am dominantly right footed, but I am also very comfortable using my left foot. I have been playing soccer from the time I could walk, whether it is the YMCA, the park or against my older brother who plays college soccer. I was captain of my soccer team for 2 years in a row.
As an honors student, I highly value academics, and I am very involved with extra-curricular activities outside of soccer. I maintain a 4.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, while being active in YIG (Youth in Government). Overall, I am looking for a school that will challenge me in the classroom as well as on the field. Thanks for taking the time to visit my recruiting site. Hope to hear from you soon!
YEAH! We will be playing in my States Finals. Here is what my last competitor had to say about us:
