Hello Coaches, I am Luis Calvo, a Senior at Green Upstate High School. Soccer has been my biggest passion, almost an obsession. I have played my whole life and would love to continue my career as a soccer player at a college level. I have gone to many lengths, from pushing for the beginning of the first soccer team last year for our school, and even going as far as designing our own jerseys for it. My determination is so strong, that I've added my school to the NCSA database, making me the first athlete from my school to be here. My career as a goalkeeper started when I was a kid, when nobody wanted to step up as a goalkeeper I volunteered, and I ended up bringing my team to win multiple tournaments, and ever since then, my love for the goal has only grown. As a goalkeeper and captain of my team, I have learned from a young age that it is my job to communicate with my whole team on what the game looks like and boost our team's attitude when faced with a tough opponent. This work ethic is what has earned me multiple MVPs and keeper of the academy in the past. Along with a 4.5 GPA, almost all Honors and AP classes, RoKappa, and Beta Club. I am looking forward to working with all of you!
