Maurizio Mccallum '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maurizio (Mo) McCallum and I am currently a junior attending the British International School Of Houston graduating in 2023. I am currently located in Houston, Texas.

Having the opportunity to live and play in a variety of different countries such as; England, Scotland, Spain, and the USA has helped me experience and adapt to different playstyles. Diversifying and adapting to playstyles is one of my best traits as it helps me connect with the team and enhance the team's game in a positive manner.

I am a 5"10 dynamic center forward/ Forward with skill, passing ability, and shooting. I currently am the varsity captain for my high school soccer team and play for RISE u17 ECNL. I have played in a variety of different leagues and tournaments such as; the USYS national league, ECNL, Dallas Cup, Copa Rayados, USYS national tournaments(2018), and many more (please refer to my highlight video if interested in other personal achievements).

Having completed the International Cambridge examination(IGCSEs) during my Freshman and Sophomore years. I am now pursuing my International Baccalaureate(IB) diploma and will be presenting my exams in 2023. My grade average is currently at a 5.5 out of a 7 point scale. 

My dream is to pursue an educational prowess in the business field as well as play college soccer. I am a very studious and hard-working individual that loves problem-solving and collaborating with others.
