The reason I am a candidate is because I am willing to learn new skills to improve my own game as well as my teams performance. I am a very coachable athlete that is willing to take constructive feedback to improve myself.  I consider myself a student of the game, and I want to continue to learn and play at the next level. I think that my abilities, work ethic, and leadership on and off the field will help a collegiate team increase their performance on the field and in the classroom. I take pride in my academics, so I hold myself to a higher standard than others. I always consider myself my biggest critic, especially in school. I understand that I cannot excel in or advance my athletic career without taking care of my academics first. I place a lot of value in the title student athlete, in which I make sure that I am a student first.
