Personal Statement

After living in Lake Jackson and playing soccer for the first 9 years of my life, my family moved to Qatar for my dad's work. I played for a club there for five years, and played JV for the high school as an eighth grader and a freshman. We then moved back to Houston Texas where I currently live and play for on the varsity team at Kingwood Park High. I am also playing in the Houston Dynamo's pre-academy program. My goal going into college is to make it to a division one school and be starting by sophomore year. I would like to study in the health field, and more specifically sports medicine. After college my goal is to consider playing soccer, and if that does not work out I would like to find a job as a physical therapist in sports medicine. I am a hard worker and do not settle with being the second best or average. I enjoy pushing myself and do my best in everything I do. I am passionate for the sport of soccer and am ready to work with different coaches and people to make my way to achieving my goals.  As a player, I am technically sound and have good vision of the field and players around me. Passing and finding ways to move the ball around through lines of defense is one of my best attributes, and I can beat defenders in one vs. one situations and my finishing is also good. Playing as a team is important to me because it helps to uplift and strengthen the individuals.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
